Hi,

Any barefoot runners on here? Just want to see if there are others who enjoy a bit or lots of barefoot running.

Also does anyone know of any gravel/dirt road tracks where one could run a bit? I only know of the corniche thats paved all the way...

Thanks :)

Hi LDC & Delighted, Sorry was busy for so long never had the chance to check back. :O Thanks for the replies. I shall check out Hash House Harriers group but for now I have come up with a more portable solution... gravel in a sand box and run in place ;). Well it helps, the rest of my barefoot runs are in the corniche. LDC, There is a cycling track on the corniche too, but its strictly for cyclists :(. Bab al shams is way too far for me so guess that wont do... But thanks all the same :)

Hi Sumi, Am trying to find someone who has purchased the Vibran Five Fingers (Barefoot Running shoes) Am contemplating buying a pair but so far haven't found anyone that can recommend them in the UAE. There is a great new track that runs from the Bab Al Sams road all around that area. It's a cycling track but if you pick the right day you could also go for a run on that (the cyclists are going to kill me for this post)

have a look on this site at the running scene. perhaps some of the Hash House Harriers groups can point you in the right direction
