Hi Ladies,
I am very new to Abu Dhabi, and am still trying to find my way around. Just wondered if anyone could recommend any department stores where I can buy furniture and all the large electrical items you need when moving into a new home? I've already been to IKEA but haven't come across anything else so far.
Any advice would be appreciated.

For electrical things, we got most from the large supermarkets (Lulu or Carrefour). There's also a large electrical store in the Mina shopping center behind ToysRus. For furniture, I have to admit our place is largely furnished courtesy of Ikea but there are also the Home Centre and Homes R Us stores (more traditional) and The One (more fashionable). If you google them, you can find their locations.
