Hi, I have heard that there are several islands around AD which you can visit for the Day. Could anyone please advise what they are called, are there facilities - cafe/toilets and where you catch the boats from?

check on time out there was a feature done on it not so long ago. told you them all and how to get there. belevari marine are one company I know do this sort of thing, they have a facebook page i think (or they did ive not been on it for ages).

bahrani island also called maya island, there is a hotel on there but its not advertised as such, but you need to get the ferry. you used to be able to go to lulu island the ferry went from up at the marina area but that is not the case now adays, in order to do a boat trip you need to charter a boat etc. the other place is al futistasi island, this is owned by the health and fitness club. there are boats that go from the big "I" or bateen marinas usually is the place to look. Empros and Shuja are the other boats that do dinner cruises etc.
