Hi everybody !

Our 4 yr old just finished his first school year in an American system in A.D.

Is it normal that in pre - k ' s program children have " TV " as a weekly activity ?
I asked the teacher and she told me that they learn better with a tv , this is for 30 mins , for me was really shocking !!

Is this normal in all schools ? I think something is wrong and it seems in the coming years they are following the same activity , I worry about it and I am really disappointed in the quality of my child's teacher . The hardest part is that any parent said anything about it so maybe It 's me the crazy ?

Also they watch tv for 15 mins before going home !!
for us is really expensive to enroll our child in a british system , do you have any other ideas ? thank you :)

What is shocking about having TV? Unless they are sitting watching Cartoon Network, I really don't see the problem. Some of the most informative lessons we had at school involved educational TV. I'm sure every single British person from the same era remembers TEN SIXTY SIX! TEN SIXTY SIX! lol.

No. That is not normal. My children's schools do not have TV. Children watch enough TV at home
