Here is the new school year's academic calendar for Dubai private and public schools.

Classes will start on September 1 for all Dubai public and private school students
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) confirmed the new school calendar for the 2019-2020 academic year. The UAE Ministry of Education announced via its official Twitter page that classes will start on Sunday, September 1, 2019 for private and public school students who follow the ministry or foreign curriculums.

School faculty members and staff will return earlier on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
Academic calendar 2019-20: Dubai private schools starting in September
KHDA also said that winter vacation for students will begin on December 15 until January 9, 2020.

KHDA mentioned, "All private schools must tentatively communicate Public holidays (like Eid, National day and other similar holidays) to the parents and confirm these holidays to the parent once declared by the UAE government authority."
