and this is why i hate shopping....
Get to MoE, go into Debs, choose bathing suit cannot find cashier for love nor money. Joined another lady at the counter who said the girl had disappeared half way through ringing her stuff up with no explanation. Mill around uselessly.
Go to C4, find the ipod station, wait patiently for my turn but when the dude finishes selling whatever it is to a bloke he disappears. Cashier girl has back to me and is counting phone cards. Wait wait wait. Finally I ask her (not so patiently) where someone is to help me. She looks around uselessly, speaks to some one, picks up phone, talks to someone else. Eventually one of the can i help you dudes wanders over from where he has been watching TV with the rest of the can I help you dudes. I am not going to bore you even further with details of the transaction.....
Finish C4 shop eventually, go to checkout. The lady in front of me not only waits for her whole sale to be rung on before announcing that she is waiting for something else, but also has no wallet to pay. Wait around uselessly for either her friend to show up or a supervisor to show up and cancel sale.
Now, I am getting a little anxious time wise, because while in C4 a friend rang and asked if I could do the early school run for her and am a bit worried I'll be late, and all would have been perfectly ok if taxi driver hadnt decided that me saying 'that interchange there' while pointing at it actually ment " I will go all the way down SZR to the one 600 miles away' instead.
So thats it, I am officially a hermit, and need to figure out how to do my sodding groceries on line.
