Was told (years ago) of a company/shop in London that catered only to lefties: can openers, scissors, all that goodie stuff usually only made for righties.... Does anyone know if that company still exists?
I'm a leftie who was initially forced to write with the right hand by school til my mother stepped in.
Everyone in our household when the kids were at home except DD was left handed - it drove her mad as the kettle and ancillary tea making gear all set up for ease of use by the majority left handers!
Lots of lefties in IT I've found over the years too.
If the right side of the body is controlled by the left side of the brain and the left side of the body by the right side of the brain then we are the only ones that are in our right minds.
Love it!!
But why don't I feel in my right mind here sometimes??........

I'm a leftie too,
as well as sinistre, gauche in French, clumsy awkward.
My brother is also a leftie, but Mum & Dad were not.
I read somewhere that the problems Bertie had (King's Speech) were a result of being forced to change hands.

My mum is left handed and is an excellent seamstress and good at all sorts of handicraft. I'm right handed but never get any kind of handicraft things right!!!
Another left hander here! I don't use my right hand for anything - its a nightmare when you are in countries where its still frowned upon to use your left hand for anything except for dirty jobs!
I was very pleased with a present a mate sent me recently - an ambidexterous pie server with both edges serrated! Right handed people have no idea how impossible it is to use a right handed pie server! I also love Arabic school notebooks that run from the back to the front meaning that I can see my students names as I fill in their grades, rather than having them covered by my left arm. Perfect!
I write with my left hand but do pretty much everything else (tennis, ironing etc) with my right hand...when I play pool, I can use either hand, depending on which is easier :)
Same :)
Left-handedness is also associated with being ultra-creativity, I love to be mad - makes life much more fun... As for uncleanliness, have my housemaid to remedy that, as everyone else....

I admit... used to also have my hand with a ruler when using my left hand to write. Luckily I haven't quite lost it, and still cut, sew, draw, open cans, etc left handed...
