Glad I was able to read the thread on this! It was a lovely show and the children were entertained. Sadly it was the final show and hopefully they will return in the fall.

I think they were hoping to find a trainer to do the bird show so they could continue with the breeding programme and also have a life and also keep the show going. Anyway, I think it will be a real shame if the show does not continue in the Autumn.

What would make them not continue? When it is winter they put on the show, as soon as the show season is over it is breeding time, they still have to train the birds during the summer and also they are also breeding birds, it means they get no break. So I guess something might have to go. But why would they not do the show again next winter? As I understand it, they get no break at all. Training the show birds is all year round and they also breed falcons, in the summer when it is breeding time they have to give 100% to them and then they have to find time to train the show birds and I think they struggled last year and have decided something has to go. Does that make sense. Yes.
