Boring thread alert - Prado key breaking - does anyone else have this problem?

I have just had to replace yet another casing for my car key as it's completely snapped in half...
I don't have Schwarzenegger spade hands but I notice that i have to replace the casing around twice in a year... For the past month it's been held together with supereglue and before that sellotape...
Does anyone else have this problem? I'm giving the key man at lamcy good business!
