We are leaving Dubai in April but have a housing contract until the end of November. Our landlord has suggested we need to find another tenant - does anyone know if that has to be for the remainder of the current contract or for a new contract of 12 months? thx

Hi Annie, according to the new RERA rules, even full one-year contracts can be broken with a (I believe) three months notice period. Verify this rule with them...

Are you leaving on your own free doing or are you leaving because of redundency?
