I always use the moist chocolate cake recipe on thefoody.com - it is very popular w guests. Also as it uses drinking chocolate and not cocoa, my kids prefer the milder flavor.

I like this one http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/One-Bowl-Chocolate-Cake-III/Detail.aspx Not sure about giving kids cake with caffeine in it (as TK's recipe below) but to each their own :)

This has become my go to chocolate cake recipe now - very easy to make and clean up and the cake remains moist for at least a week. http://lick-my-spoon.blogspot.com/2010/12/moist-chocolate-cake-one-bowl-cake.html Hope that helps.

Hi Toffee Pops - is the cake for a child or an adult? BBC Good Food has great recipes and they all work really well. I have it saved in favourites and use it when I want a new recipe. Just put in a search for chocolate cake and take your pick.

Does anyone have a nice moist chocolate cake recipe they'd like to share? Preferably one that freezes well as I want to make it in advance for a birthday party in a couple of weeks time. TIA :)
