I paid 750dhs which is more pricey then other places. I kind of got stuck doing it there because I was consulting the homeopath for my skin and undergoing treatment with her. they were very good though, no complaints. My sister had it done at the Dubai herbal treatment center and it was cheaper there. Around 500dhs I think Where is the Herbal centre? Prices don't seem to bad to me. I think I enquired somewhere a couple of years ago and worked out more expensive.

I have actually had 2 sessions done at Holistic healing center on al wasl. I went to se the homeopath there for my terrible skin which my dermatologist didn't seem to be able to fix. She said that my skin problems were related to my colon/stomach and needed full cleansing. The sessions were fine, uncomfortable but not painful. I was told that I might feel sluggish after but I was actually full of energy straight away. My skin for the past 10 days looks great. i need to do 2 more sessions. I've heard so many mixed reviews about the benefits and dangers of this treatment. I know though that things are exaggerated on some websites and they make the risks seem bigger then they are...like perforated colon etc...could that really happen? So far I am happy with it and wanted to know what others experience was... Can i ask how much it costs

I had one session done here at Synergy medical centre on Al Wasl - I was advised to have it done by my doctor before some abdominal surgery (as an alternative to taking laxatives for a day). Some friends had told me all about the improvements in skin, loads of energy etc, but to be honest I didn't really notice any difference. I just felt kind of violated! (No reflection on the practitioner, she was excellent and properly qualified and everything, I just felt like it wasn't really what my digestive system was designed for!)

I had a series of 3 over a few months and saw improvements, immediately after my eyes were clear and sparking and I had bags of energy. If you follow the food guide before and after you will benefit. Everyones different. Some say its good for you, some say its not, some say it makes no difference at all. As below read all the pros nd cons and my advice, give it a try and see.

Has anyone done colonic hydrotherapy? what is your view on it? beneficial or a waste of time? can it be harmful? Ask what's wrong with having fecal matter in your colon? Obviously you've never had colon/digestion problems sw. Yassy, if you go to the right person it can be very benefical. I went to a lady (not here) 2 years ago who really helped me. She had been practising for years, was a nurse and I was very confident in her ability. I found it extremely helpful for my post surgery very sluggish/poor digestion. There are threads about it on here already so do a quick search. Sorry I cant recommend anyone here. HTH BTW I did not loose weight as a result of having it done !

A friend of mine kept 'blowing off', and in company she would have to keep it in - and ended up being in discomfort the whole time. She had one colonic and that was it, all sorted! I heard you can lose weight, and I also heard that you can be sick...like them celeb detox people in Thaliand. They were nausous, dehydrayted etc.
