Try Rouyati (Ru2yati in Arabic) they do Islamic classes for children of all ages. They are based in Nadd Al Hamar near Mirdif. I think most of their classes are conducted in Arabic though which I'm not sure if you want or not, although it would be best to call and check. The number is 04 2899924.

Yes, I was going to suggest Al Manar Quran Study Center too. They have weekend classes for kids I suppose. Growing up in Dubai, most of the kids in my neighborhood including myself were tutored by the Muezzin of our local Mosque at the Mosque itself. Some Muezzins would come to 1 particular house to tutor kids in that particular bldg/locality. Im not sure how its done these days.

Try Al Manar Center for Quran Studies, or JILC, they do quite a lot for kids (they're on Al Wasl Road) I attend quran classes in Al Farooq Mosque in Safa, they have a mix of kids and adults. I am sure they do classes for boys in the men's area.

Don't they teach this at your school? Local schools might, but mostly kids will have a private teacher at home or they attend a masjid. Some children will study to memorize the entire Quran, which is called hafiz, and that requires a lot of time and effort. Something schools can't offer, local or private. Hope that clears things up :)

I would contact KALEMAH, they are located in Muhaisnah which is easy to reach from The Villa. They might be able to help you find someone who could come to your home. www.kalemah.org HTH

Where do you live? Do you want someone to come to your house or are you willing to go to a masjid? Boys or girls?
