1 in 6 people have hearing problems as they get older. Loud sounds may have something to do with it so maybe wisher to try and get a baby sitter. Thinking About going to Stevie Wonder concert,.. would it be ok to take my 9 month along? Our nanny cant baby sit on fri night.

not just the noise to think about, the crowds, people smoking etc. I'm going and it has taken a lot of planning with DH and work to get a supply of milk ready, DH will stay home with the baby and I'm having a night off.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if i pay the national debt of a small country to hear someone sing i'd kind of like to be able to without a crying baby being in competition... add to that the potential harm to his tiny ears and i'd say if it was me i'd be looking for a sitter (someone's already said he was rubbish at his last gig so you'd probably be better off spending your money on a takeway and dvd anyway lol)...

I've also seen babies at concerts before with the noise reducing earmuffs!

Ive seen babies at concerts before (even at T in The Park!)... you can get "ear-mufs" to deaden the noise. cant think of a brand name or anything, try googling. Like people have been saying its up to you if you want to hold a tired crying baby through the duration...

think about noise levels. Do your ears ring after a concert? Mine certainly do, and they aren't sensitive and developing still. Also, think about bubs' bedtime. Going to a concert is a bit different from being able to sleep in the buggy while you have a nice quiet meal out... is it fair? Are you prepared to hold a screaming baby for the duration? Basically, I wouldn't.

Their ears are still too sensitive at that age. may hurt the little one. Try to find a babysitter for the night. If you need help doing so let me know.
