Etisalat HOME PLUG, or similar product - Anyone used this?

Have been recommended to install this product by Etisalat as an alternative to hard wiring Access points in the house (as wifi router does not give not 100% coverage). It will provide access points via the power sockets and can be moved around as required. It is also a cheaper alternative and less messy than getting the wiring installed.
Has anyone used this system and if so, how reliable was it?.
