I've seen the fabric boards you're talking about for sale at the Arte Souk, though that was a few months ago. I've also seen them for sale more recently at the Star International school fair.

You could go along, or even contact them beforehand to see if the stall you're after is still part of that souk.

Hi ladies, hoping you can help. A couple of years ago I bought a lovely fabric photo board for my daughter's room - it is a board covered with fabric and then it has ribbon criss-crossing it so that you can slot photos or notes in. I bought it from a lady at the Wellington School Spring Fair but cannot find her card anywhere and I am desperate to get another one made. Does anyone know anyone who makes these or knows exactly what kind of board to get and how to do it myself (step by step instructions otherwise will mess it up!). Thanks in advance.
