...any ideas where I might buy some?

I know it might seem odd given our climate but the baby shoes sewing pattern I have uses fleece fabric for the lining. If I can't find any I'll try with felt but just thought that fleece would be cosier (the intended recipient lives in cooler climes)

if you don't mind using a pale blue colour, IKEA sell a fleece blanket for 7 dhs (or thereabouts) I've cut one up to use as baby wipes. Yeah, and they do them in other colours too.

Could you buy a fleece blanket someplace like Carrefour and use that? Now that is a cool idea cos there are so very cheap and quite pretty, must remember to wash it first though. The lovely dark rose-red ones with hearts I bought in Geant in Bahrain ended up looking most odd afte the first wash. All out of shape as they shrank in some places but stretched in others... think they didn't like the superfast spin cycle on my m/c LOL!
