Where did you meet your good friends in Dubai? I have met a couple of fab ladies through the forum but don't know where all the mums are during the day? I've been to playcentres etc but they seem to be full of maids with kids? At school pick up time, I just see maids and drivers! I note that there are a lot of lonely women in Dubai and I thought it would be nice to share ideas on EW? TIA

'LlI met some of my friends through here...I put up an ad asking for new friends! It said something like "must like a drink and a laugh, must not care if house is a mess etc etc....." and lo and behold several ladies responded and they are now very dear friends of mine. Have met a few other mums at shcool pick up and drop off. Apart from that my other firends here are wives of the guys my husband works with freckles....I like a laugh and a mess....but not a drink.....would I pass? I'll have your drinks! ;).

Apart from that my other firends here are wives of the guys my husband works with freckles....I like a laugh and a mess....but not a drink.....would I pass?

through playgroup mainly, two through this forum and a couple from school and DH's office but the playgroup friends are friends for life and feel very blessed to have met them :)
