thank you all. Just found some (Bosh and Laumb) in pharmacy in Aswaaq complex next to kings. From now on I will stock up in the uk so as to avoid these last minute panics - and to save some money. The solution is 4 times the price here. (65 dhs for 200 ml) Sue62 what's the name of the one in the green box? did not realise there was an all in one GP lense product in that box colour - would be handy to know - cheers sorry i don't know - i use the blue one !! lol i use Renu (bosh n laumb) 45 dhs for 240 ml... about half as much again as the Boots brand i use at home..

Let us know if you find any. We searched for ages and ages and never found any. Finally my DH had to switch to the regular contact lense solution. Whenever we asked Opticians here they had no clue what we were talking about.

Lulla - if you're heading to AL diyafa, there are at least 3 opticians there, plus a branch of Boots, so you may strike lucky. and we are in the Ranches If you reply asap, I'll remove my email from this post Thanks. edited by moscow on 19/03/2011

thanks. Tried Ranches and Park and shop. Will head North and try top vision. Chemist by Aswaak near Kings sold last 7 bottles of Total Care (purple bottle) to one customer (the one who must have heard there was going to be a shortage of supplies - or come to think of it, the one who caused the shortage of supplies for everyone else by polishing off stocks!) I'll keep searching and if still stuck next week I might have to take you up on your offer moscow. Very kind of you! Cheers.

Have you tried Top Vision on al Diyafa St? Also the chemist at Um suquim Spinneys often has some. If you can't get any and are really desperate, I can probably spare you a bottle each of Boots Cleaning and Wetting solutions. (the ones in the green boxes) edited by moscow on 19/03/2011

I seem to spend my time searching for things in shops!! my latest problem is finding all in one solution (or even two step) for gas permeable contact lenses. I have tried at least 20 chemists and opticians over the last week but Dubai seems to have run out. The only thing I can think of is to ask if any generous soul out there happens to have a spare bottle of the stuff at home, that I can borrow. I can replace it after I stock up in the UK in early April. Anyone able to help? I don't mind the brand as I switch depending on what I can find in the shops. Thanks in advance. Things are getting foggy.
