Its going to be hot in most places in India around then, unless you plan a trip to a hill station. I love Goa too, but April might just be alittle tough for the kids and most shacks will be taken apart by then. If you pick a good hotel, then the kids might enjoy their time with the water activities.

Unless you are a looking for a specific type of holiday, considering you have 2 young children, why not pick another place in India such as Bangalore. There's tons the kids can do in and around bangalore which by the way also has shacks and cows. HAL Aerospace Museum (www.hal-india.com/heritage.asp) Doodle den Claytopia Martin Farm (get to live on a farm, feed animals, lots of place to play. Owned by a lovely family. I have been to Goa several times, and i did the first time, but not either of the other 2. We do completely cover ourselves in spray and have coils burning and plug-in electric anti-mozzie plus - having said that, I haven't taken malaria tablets in either Sri lanka or thailand either..

Hi all a bit of advise please. we are wanting to head to Goa for a long w/e during the Easter hols - I've been a few times before, but not at this time of the year. have looked at the weather charts, and looks manageable, but... can anyone please advise, is it too hot / too humid - having lived here, we are used to the heat and humidity, but want to enjoy the 4 days there too. husbands think we are mad will be 2 mums with a 4yo dd, and 6 yo dd - they are used to travel, and one has done Goa before - like the shacks and the cows!
