Hello, people! So I was planning to buy my own car since I will be able to use it in my work. I'd love to buy a brand new car, but I don't have enough budget. I only have 180k AED and I want an SUV. Can you give me any advice if it's okay to buy a pre-owned car?

Well, thanks everyone for your advises! @Alison_T I would consider that as one of my options. I think it's a great offer @kitten67 I would check it in the internet and put it into consideration @Marsbar well thanks for the advice.

Absolutely! You will get a great SUV for that budget and wont need to spend it all. Most of the dealerships also have used cars or demo cars for sale which come with inspection and guarantee if you are nervous about private purchase. However, I have purchased around 3 used cars (1- 2 years old) through Dubizzle over the years and never had an issue. If you are not buying an older car you may be able to buy with service contract included etc... You will have a good selection for your budget!

Check the Mitsubishi Pajero. New prices start at 84,900 AED. with a budget of 180K you can surely get the top of the range model brand new.

I can't advise if it's a good idea or not, but if you are going to buy a used vehicle, then be sure to do your 'due diligence' and have it inspected by a reputable auto shop. We used AAA in Al Quoz, and based on their recommendation, we did not buy the vehicle we were considering.
