am looking to go italy for my honeymoon in august.

will it be too hot? (i dont midn the heat) would you recommend?

thank you Cheche. we are planning on visiting the places you recommended just thought sorrento be good as a base so we dont have to keep moving hotels. thank you got the restuarants am getting very excited :)

Rome...fatastic from january up to december...always!!!! While staying in Sorrento , please don't forget to visit Amalfi,Positano,Ravello!!! and of course Capri & Ischia...even if quite crowded of tourists. In Sorrento..fantastic reaturants IL BUCO and also Don Pedro.

we are flying into Rome- staying there for 4 nights then onto sorrento for 7 nights :) Im going to Rome in July :) Sorrento is lovely!

Im off there in July. August is peak tourist season. Venice gets a little smelly from time to time in the summer but if you are heading to the coast it will be magnificent!

great thank you, and i have heard places close during august- is this true? No its thier main hoiday month - you may find that shops close in the sfternoons and reopen in the evenings but everything is open for tourists :)

It will be hot but not hotter than Dubai lol ( is that possible ) and you will have lovely fresh breezes fab !
