Hi there. We live in Jumeirah Village Triangle, all villas here are detached, 2 bed and maids room all have bathrooms, its very quite here and the people are friendly if you do get to meet them. the kitchen appliences come new in the villa. They are new villas so some will have gardens otherwise it will be up to you to install your grass and plants. We found ours just by driving around and calling numbers we saw on the gates, otherwise go check out bayut website. its very dog friendly. As for the gym, we have a spinnies centre at Meadows around the corner, you could walk but that would take you like 25 to 30 min, driving is just as long cause they dont have direct access to that area, as everything is still be construted.
Our villa is 90k.
[b'>[b'>We are looking to move to Jumeirah Village Triangle as well, the villa's look amazing! wow 90k that is soo cheap[/b'>

But good luck in your hunt.

Any chance of the name of your relocation consultant?
Thanks
Not sure about the policy of giving 'direct mentions' on EW, but if you post a thread for Cornish Pixie, then you will find her. Or she might just see this thread. ;)
Good luck.
First off, expect more answers [hopefully!'> in the morning. It's just gone midnight here, so a lot of posters will have hit the hay. :)
We're child-free and chose our villa because of its large garden, pool and delicious silence, away from construction noise. At the time, too, DH was working in DIC [Dubai Internet City'> which is only 15 minutes from our development.
We also did NOT want to live in a compound -- we have two energetic dogs! -- which is why we chose Meadows, a 'gated' community [ie has a security guard/box'>. And even though I really enjoy living in Dubai, we love being able to close the front door and feel like we can shut out the city. We do have a lot of families living in our area, but no massive kids' areas; just a few small gated-off areas with play equipment [which are generally utilised by the maids rather than children, it has to be said!'>.
We are five minutes' drive from a big shopping centre [Spinney's Town Centre, whose supermarket is a lot like Waitrose, but which also has a number of small 'specialty' shops'> and 10 minutes from Sheikh Zayed Road, the main thoroughfare through Dubai. In fact, a number of big malls -- Ibn Battuta, Mall of the Emirates, Marina Mall -- are all about 15 minutes' drive from us [peak hour traffic excepted!'>.
You should think about where your DH is working and how long his daily commute will be in order to aid your decision. For your budget, you could easily get a really nice villa + good-sized garden in Springs [semi-detached'>, a smaller villa in Lakes, or one in Arabian Ranches [that may be a bit far out for you though'>. All these developments are close to Spinney's Town Centre, apart from the Ranches, but it has its own supermarket/shopping centre nearby. There are other developments around -- Victory Heights, Green Community etc -- which you might also consider. You might even be lucky enough to find a large villa in Al Barsha, if you find a good agent!
Do you have any money in your budget for a relocation agent? We used someone I found on EW** who was the most tremendous help with all the to-ing and fro-ing; she ascertained our needs and all I had to do was look at the places she found. WELL worth the money. And I found a perfect villa -- which we're still in, three years later -- in a couple of days. ;)
Good luck in your hunt. I'm sure you'll find something lovely for your budget. Just make sure you negotiate for number of cheques and HAGGLE for a good deal on the rent! :)
** I'd post a message for Cornish Pixie if you are keen for some help ... ;)
