I've been wanted to get a pug for a while now and am wondering if there are any reputable pug breeders I can contact here in dubai?

Thanks,
PugLover12:)

Second everything FairyDust said but would also like to add snub nosed breeds really really suffer in heat, Dubai is quite possibly the worst place on the planet for them. Plus this today in BBC news: Vets warn people against buying 'flat-faced' dogs http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-37423040

There aren't any. There are NO ethical breeders here, all the pet shop puppies come from puppy mills mostly in Eastern Europe and come from horrific conditions. Please don't buy a dog and contribute to this awful industry. There are literally hundreds of dogs desperate for a forever home, with the many rescue organisations that are here. Pugs do come up, but there'e usually a waitlist, so I would suggest contacting organisations like: K9 Friends Animals Action UAE Sharjah Cats and Dogs Shelter Posh Paws Dogs in Dubai Animal Welfare UAE There are loads more. Please adopt and don't shop. Also please bear in mind that with snub nosed breeds like Pugs, there can be a great many health issues, due to their shortened nasal passages. Airlines will not fly them during certain months, due to their breathing issues (if at all). SOme of the serious health issues which can lead to hefty vets bills are: Serious breathing difficulties High blood pressure Fainting or collapsing due to a lack of oxygen Facial skin fold infections Serious eye problems Excessive flatulence due to excessive gulping and swallowing of air to try to overcome their breathing difficulties Difficulty walking Highly disrupted sleep Get yourself a nice mixed breed desert dog and avoid all the above.
