i read on a previous thread that you wanted to use saniservice for your villa, did you have a good experience with them? I have mould and fungus problem in my villa and would like to have it checked and deep cleaned. TIA

Thanks SH. Saniservice is coming this afternoon for an assesment and a quotation and i Will try to get a quotation from epsco as well. For sûre, i will forward them to thé LL but if the problem is massive, I just feel moving out. We have a 3 yo and a baby, and I don't want to take any risks, especially because my DD seems already to be allergic, with constant coughing, runny nose etc. Thing is, in Dubai we have been living in 3 different places, and all of them had issues with AC, mould etc:-(( thanks again!!

It's a pleasure Eden. Just to add..any mould on any wall that you see is a definate risk to your health. If it is there and certainly visible then there is an underlying issue that needs attention. Sometimes it is not visible which makes it harder to determine where the root of the problem is. Bottom line is, mould should not be there. The wall needs to be totally stripped back and re plastered somewhat and re painted. Finding out the reason why this is happening will ensure that the problem is irradicated. This is the responsibility of the owner of the property, so, if you are renting then make it known and clear to the LL that you want this sorted out. SH

Hi Eden, I've not had this done as yet but I have checked into it and I like what I see and hear. I have heard many positive things from alot of people regarding this and given that I've had some previous issues with one aircon system in my villa I will most definately have this done prior to Summer and before we start using all of the aircons in the villa again. The company that I will be going with is called EPSCO Envirotech. The telephone number that I have is: +971 (0) 4 880 46 70. Give them a call and organise for someone to come out and talk to you about the problems you are facing. Mould and fungus in your home is a severe health hazard!!!! I hope you get this sorted as I know how horrible it is knowing that it is present in your home. All the best! SH
