Outdoor mosquito repellant: in a small burner, burn ground coffee... Indoors, burn candle with a few drops of essential oils: lemongrass and clove; or mix 20 ml base oil with 10 drops each of the same oils, apply to exposed areas of skin, touch hair a bit...

Gosh, I had forgotten about the Avon Skin So Soft - I used to use it to ward off the mozzies years ago in South Africa and it was fantastic. I have also found a wonderful natural product recently in South Africa and needed it because I nearly got carried off by the beasts in the night - hate them with a passion!

We are the same where we live. We have the plug ins in all rooms, two large mosquito electric lights one upstairs and one down. also, the children spray avon skin so soft on their bed linen before bed or tea tree oil (both seem to keep them away). I try not to use any body lotion after a bath because they are attracted to the sweet smell. We also keep all doors shut to ouside once its dark and limit the lighting upstairs. They are then attracted to the mosquito lights.
