we tried the goose liver cooked by pan with butter at bubblicious, and it impressed us alot and it was DELICIOUS! just want to know where we can buy the high quality packaged raw goose liver here in dubai, then i can cook home@! thx. Just wanted to mention that you shouldn't cook it with butter. Foie gras is all fat anyways so it doesn't need any added butter. The best way to do it is to get a dry pan very hot, dip the slice of foie gras in a bit of flour and then cook it at high heat for about 1 minute per side.

LOL! I only discovered the gourmet food hall last weekend and am now obsessed with it! There are entertainer vouchers too to sit in and eat, which was so yummy. Got signed up for a loyalty card and am now doing all my food shopping there for the points. I found the prices amazing, alot of stuff much cheaper then choitrams etc.

Ooh, forgot about them. :) I haven't really gotten over visiting the p0rk/ham section a few weeks ago when the woman 'manning' the section couldn't tell me a single thing about anything she had on sale. She let me taste lots though. :D

Geant sometimes has it, and I have seen it -- rarely, during the festive season -- at Spinney's. Your best bet is to talk to one of the butcher/managers at either of those supermarkets [or perhaps C4, another French store like Geant'> so that it can be ordered for you. Any specialist products generally require a special request. :)
