Morning

Think we have bed bugs. Has anyone heard of this company Q I Housekeeping and office cleaning company? They offer pest control services too has anyone heard or use them before. Are they reliable and do they clean throughly and not just a quick job. I just phoned them they said they charge 250 dhs for a 2 bedroom apartment in JLT. Is that the going rate?

What about dubaipest and National pest control are they any good? Has anyone used them lately.

More recommendations are welcome.

Seriously need to sort this ASAP.

TIA

Hi tallybalt Thanks for your reply. So the solution would to chuck the mattress away. What happens if you havent had the mattress long..it looks brand new we've had it for a 1 yr?? I will go by recommendation with National Pest and give them a call. Would you mind telling how much you paid for them to come out? I would want them to have a look at it first before I decide to have it treated am not sure if it is bed bugs ...just thinking about it giving me the ichy feeling .. I have noticed it more in DD bedroom she has a canopy over her bed cot and when I went in to tidy up and change all the linen there it was black tiny things lurking around at the top of the canopy, her cuddle toys and found black droppings on her bed sheets though DD has no bites. Which is so strange. I have washed everything and disinfect every where but am just so paranoid that its still there and every night before going bed am constantly checking mine and DD bed if there are any crawling around. I have the bites and the bugs was minimal in my room..so freaked out! :(

Probably the best way to get rid of bedbugs is to throw away your mattresses. That's what we did when we found a few bedbugs underneath our mattress. I called National Pest and they said that with the mattress gone the odds of having any bedbugs left in the villa was minimal. They offered to send someone out who would do a bedbug treatment but if they found no evidence of remaining bedbugs they would do a general pest treatment, and that's what happened - the man came out, inspected the bedroom, said he couldn't see any bedbugs left and did just a general pest treatment spray. It was probably to our advantage that we caught the bedbugs early because the research online indicated that the typical bedbug colony is about 150 bugs, but I don't think we had any more than twenty bedbugs. Six weeks later, new mattress, no bedbugs (and I did buy a special mattress cover that seals the mattress from any pests). As it is, National Pest was the most responsive of the pest agencies I called. If they find bedbugs they will do a multiple step treatment process spread over several weeks.
