Question about baking & crafts for school fiars
There's been a lot of discussion on here about the need to have the correct license etc when starting up a small business. I'm interested in something similar but can't really afford to take on all the costs initially and without knowing if there is even enough demand. I'm genuinely intereted to know if all the people who sell cakes/crafts etc at school fairs, the expatwoman fair and those that are often recommended on here for cakes all have licenses and registered businesses? I know it costs a lot to run a business with premises, visas and so many overheads but was thinking that a fair is a good way to start and find out if a product would sell and items there should normally sell at less than retail costs. Thanks
