Hello,

I have a jack russell terrier who has unfortunately got Legg Parthes Syndrome- so basically his left hip ball and socket is disintegrating!

He does need surgery but in the mean time, the vet said to feed him Royal Canine food, special one for joint health.

Does anyone know where i can find this and even better if its not too far away from Dubai marina save me searching like a crazy woman in the eve after work!

Well, i got the food - battled 1.5hrs back from Al barsha to springs in the stupid traffic..... AGHHHHHH We have painkillers for the little guy and also he is taking homeopathic medicine too...... Thanks

Seriously don't even bother, complete waste of time and money, get some painkillers or have the vet give a steriod injection.

Thanks girlies, Found out that this particular type of RC food, its called Mobility, well its apparently, got some medicine in it so can only be bought from a vet with a prescription. So now i have to go back to the vet, hopefully not be charged for a stupid prescription when it was them who told us to get it, and then pay for the food. ( hubbie previously brought dog to vet, and left without getting food) The joys of running around after work!

Check petfooddubai.com website and see if they have this particular one. All vet clinics should have it, Barsha area is not that far from Dubai Marina, so you can call Pet Connection, ABVC, Lucky Vet and see if any of them has it. Pet Connection opens until 9pm, Lucky Vet opens until 7pm, and ABVC until 10pm. Also Safa Vet in Safa area (near the small choitrams) has Royal Canine but I am not sure until what time they are open. Better you call them and see if they have it before go.
