In a city with so many shops I can't believe I'm struggling to find shoes! I need a few pairs for work....as a guide, in the UK I'd usually go to Russell and Bromley, LK Benet or Hobbs. I'm thinking kitten heels rather than towering heeled stripper shoes or anything with bling attached. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks very much

Estelle...did you use Aramex or do M&S ship here? If I order one item I use Aramex (last sandal was 0.55 kg) but if I order more than one item then I let M&S ship it (note: if you want M&S int. shipping, a special order needs to be made [u'>in store[/u'>, so you need someone in the UK to go down to the store and order for you and pay). But I will do anything for a pair of comfortable size 8 shoes! lol <em>edited by Estelle on 13/03/2011</em>

Estelle, how wide are the shoes you bought? My problem is not just the length, but the width of my feet - it's impossible for me to find anything good looking that I can fit my feet into here.. I noticed that this season everything from M&S is wide (yeeey!). I was in store last week in the UK and was amazed to learn that many 7.5 fit me and all shoes came wider than usual. Read the customer reviews under the item online and usually it's a good indication of the size and the width.

Susie H...Mercato (for Hobbs) is down the road from me, so that's great advice but sods law that I was in Festival City on Sat but just did an IKEA dash and didn't look around Estelle...did you use Aramex or do M&S ship here? I was the Queen of Internet Shopping in the UK! Indeed, DH is in London at the moment and will be arriving with a caseload of stuff from Outnet and Boden!!! I'll do a big shoe order and my mam (I'm a northerner!) can bring it in April!

I recently bought 3 pairs of peep toe leather shoes with kitten heel or small wedge (for the office - black, patent black and pewter), 1 pair of black sandals with kitten keel - all M&S online. You would be surprised how good the quality and design is. 45 pounds each. Also bought one pair from Louboutin 4.5m kitten heel open toe in nude (online). Everything with a small heel from LK Bennett seems to be pointy this season. I don't find anything locally in size 8, so I always order online.

Try Salvatore Ferragamo - some of the styles are slightly granny esq but you can get some really nice ones to, they are pretty much my fave shoes - but expensive, you can usually pick some up at Outlet Mall a lot cheaper but have limited styles / sizes.

Which mall? MOE, try the car park side (as opposed to the Carrefour side) from the opposite end to Ski Dubai through to the middle. Several contenders..... have fun!
