So Annoyed and Looking for a Piano now
Have been renting a piano for the last 2 1/2 years from JULI Music Center but when we initially asked it was explained to us that the piano will be mine after having paid of the installments.
After 6 months of rental I wanted to buy the piano and was told I can pay it now or carry on paying 6 monthly. I specifically asked if that was correct and if the piano will be mine once it was paid off and once again I was told yes, I thought to myself that this sounds strange but after asking about 3 times and always the same answer I thought fine, it must be right. My DH was there for both conversations. 5 months ago I had asked how much more I had to pay until the piano was MINE and he told me after the installment 5 months ago another one of Dhs 1800 needs to be paid. I went back yesterday to pay this last installment and it inspired that everything he had told me was not true, he denied everything and now wants 4500 Dhs. My DH and I are appaled and the manager just keeps telling me read the contract. The contract is not clear, hence my DH and I both asked the guy the same question again and again and now he is in complete denial. Any idea, if I have a right to take this further. I'm sooooo angry that I just want to see justice...they don't even want to compromise and implying that I just don't want to pay. If it had been explained correctly I would have paid there and then 6 months ago.
Anyways, I would really appreciate your opinions on how I can take this further for principal reasons
Also, once again I'm on the look out for a piano, do any of you have one which they would like to sell or do you know a place where I can get a reasonable priced one from?
