There's a really useful book called a Dictionary. A Dictionary comes in various shapes and sizes, in hard-back and paperback. For example there are the Oxford Dictionary and Chambers Dictionary (which is used by most crossword compilers). These and some other publishers also try and convert one language to another. I guess, though, that if your spelling is really **** then a Dictionary probably won't help, will it? However, trying to find the correct spelling for the word you're looking for may lead you into a voyage of discovery of words you'd never thought existed. Anyone for Scrabble? Obviously, in this PC age, apologies to those with dyslexia.

why does the spell check option is only available if you use Firefox as the browser? Because it is a plug in that is available with FF.... you can also download the UK (proper) spell check.... :)

...which I ignore because it does not like my Anglicised (with an 's' not a 'z') spelling. edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 11/02/2011
