Im 14 weeks pregnant and have woken up around 4 am this morning with my whole eyelid swollen, no pain no redness just huge and the eye is nearly shut :(
Also had lumps over my skin but they have disappeared now, thought it might me a mozy? but cant be if all the other lumps have gone already.
Not a happy bunny this morning.

No oozing seems to be going down now noticed the bite marks now where my hands are swollen thought that was just to do with the pregnancy...Must be an allergic reaction to the mosquito s like u say MB.. Antihistamine taken hopefully will go down or off to GP..

Thanks ladies, out all the places they have to nibble on your eye....Doesnt seem to be going down and now swollen under the eye. Think ill have to pop into the medicentre if it doesnt go down by tonight... Will try the cold compress and have a nap whilst dd is napping :)

Yep - i had the same thing too - ended up going to A&E as i couldn't see and didn't know what antihistamine i could use..... I did look like i had been gone a few rounds with Mike Tyson (thankfully ears were still in tact).

Usually a mozzy when it's happened to me....they get right into the very tender skin while you sleep. The good news is you'll only look malformed for today...maybe try a cold compress?
