The rules of driving here are that you check every mirror and every shoulder before you make a move always expecting the unbelievable.

I have actually had a car pass me on the left side on the shoulder of the road. Scared me to death. Could not have been inches between us.

LOL !! yes, you've reminded me of a taxi trip i took not long after we first moved here - driver not sure of exact location so i gave him my satnav..he then drove the rest of the way with one hand whilst holding the satnav up close to his face like an old lady without her glasses on !!

And a laptop. Yes, I saw this once, while stuck in traffic at the Defence Center roundabout/bridge/flyover. The driver had the laptop powered on, sitting on his lap with mapquest or some type of satellite navigation program running. You forgot the coffee.... (the foot that isn't on the dashboard is needed on the steering wheel)

It's perfectly acceptable to undertake, over take as long as you have your foot on the dash board, seat belt off and your mobile in your hand. I see certain cars do this all the time.:\:

its illegal but most times you dont have a choice, if you were to move over correctly you would more than likely be pulled over for that.

It's not allowed, but no chance to follow the rule as every slow car is driving on the left side..

I always wondered if it is actually legal or people just do it anyways?
