I spent all last night in pain. My lower back on the left had side is aching and the pain goes right through my left leg. I think it might be a bout of sciatica.

Please please does anyone know a doc who will be availoable this morning to sort it out? I'm not sure a normal gp will be able to do anything.

Have a big weekend this weekend with DD's birthday party and need to get back on my feet asap.

Call Dubai London Clinic at Festival City - 042325751. They have other branches but not sure where. I saw Dr Bland yesterday who was excellent but there is also Dr Carol Smylie. I sympathise with your pain. I've always take Ponstan Forte 500g for sciatica pain. Its available over the counter but usually requires prescription in other countries such as the uk. had same and I did accupuncture recommanded on this forum. dr Ou is fantastic and come to your home. If you dont like accupuncture, try Miss Lauren Wharen - osteopathe, she is also fantastic (osteopathic health center al wasl road)

Make sure you rule out kidney stones too. It can often be mistaken for sciatica type pain. If the stone is on the move at all, it can have similar symptoms.

I recommend Aziza Zubeidi from the Oesteopathic Health Centre. They have clinics in Umm Suqeim 04 348 7366 and Mirdif 04 288 8525. She works out of both on different days. I hope you feel better soon.

I have had this before and have had anti inflammatories prescribed eg Voltaren and Cataflam but of course you should see a doctor to rule out anything else.
