I have feather pillows that I washed as for instructions; 40 degree, put them to dry in the sun but they got smelly since then... i expose them to air every morning and put them in sunlight for a whole day, have even washed the, again with a lot of comfort and sprayed on them the odor neutralizer with no result.
does anyone have a helpful hint or idea?

i've tried the dryer as well on 100 degree with no result. the problem is that these are the most comfortable i found, my husband sweats a lot and has an allergic skin so i have to wash the pillows every other week. i really dont want to throw them away :-(

I've also done this in the past with unsuccessful results, ended up throwing them out too. SH

I had this problem with some feather pillows and ended up chucking them out as the smell would not go away. Sorry, not much help, but if you do find a solution please post it.

Do you have a dryer? If so put them in a dryer with a couple of tennis balls and try and ignore the racket that will follow. But it will dry it out completely and redistribute the feathers.
