Can you go as the honey pot and just wear a beigey caramel coloured dress? And carry a big spoon?

I skipped the post script, which says Smart Casual...How can a dress code be Smart Casual as well as Winnie the Pooh??? Guess I will just wear Yellow and go..... Thanks guys... sounds to me like the theme is for the gifts rather than the outfits... on the other hand - have you seen anyone else's invite ? it's not the classic joke of you being the only person to be told it's fancy dress ? LOL !! *picturing everyone else in their "smart/casual" and CW walking in dressed as tigger !!! lolol

why oh why have these themes and make the parents dress up. I actually don't even want to stuff my 6month old LO in that bear costume. I am sure he would be very uncomfortable in that. He is the happiest when he is in his nappies. He loves it when you take his clothes off... Fine-then he can be an earlier incarnation of Christopher Robin and you can still dress as his nanny.........just make sure they don't make you eat at the maid's table......:) Hoping they don't serve me the kiddy meal.. :D

Roo: brown shirt and pants. Make a little pink nose etc. Maybe get one of those name tags that sticks on and says 'my name is ______'

Are you sure they aren't implying that the theme for the gifts should be winnie the pooh?

Oh my, how hideous! Well, I'd go as Rabbit. Easy to make ears, a tail and a face painted nose.
