Where can you get a carpet prepared for hanging on the wall?

I need to get a large-ish persian/oriental carpet prepared for use as a wall hanging. I called the store I bought it from and they said their weaver is currently out of the country but we will do it.. we being the sales staff! So I'm not too confident about that option!
The guy on the phone gave me the option of leather brackets/ribbons or cloth ones. Apparently, there is some piping involved as well which he didn't mention. Any clues on the best way to go about it?
This has to be completed and packed for travel by Thursday night so if anyone has a reliable contact who can help me out, I'd be grateful!
