Oh there were plenty so here are just the ones I had a conversation with: Don Johnson - absolutely wonderful guy and so much fun Madonna - extremely snotty Guy Ritchie - great guy and so good with kids Tom Hanks - a bit reserved Pierce Brosnan - met him with a great hangover so not the most talkative ;) Rowan Atkinson - wow, nothing like Mr. Bean, even the look is completely different in real life

Our problem is that we wouldn't recognise a 'celebrity' if we bumped into one, whether here in Dubai or anywhere else in the world. In fact, what or who is a 'celebrity'? What is it that classifies a person as a celebrity?

Eric Bana - absolutely fantastic guy, and so down to earth. SO good looking in person. Sweet wife too! Ashton Kutcher - part full of himself part cheeky monkey Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron (forced and against my will - ask your kids! lol) Jason Statham - he was lovely but his manager/minder was...not :) Kylie and Danni Minogue - Kylie was lovely, Danni is demanding For you Aussies: Hamish and Andy, probably my FAVOURITE celebrity run in since I adore them! Steve VIZARD haha Forget half their names but almost all of the cast of Neighbours (though that would not count at all in Melbourne, seriously no one cares) Peter and Tim Costello (love Tim, HATE Peter) Lots of musicians at concerts but I don't know if that counts!

Chelsea Clinton during her university days, she went to university in my home town. Samar from the cooking show "Samar bil Khaleeji" (Fatafeat show), having brunch at Lime Tree Cafe with her son. The charming host from "Khawaater" (MBC show) and his family, having breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien in Dubai Mall. My 2 yr old DS pointed him out and was properly star struck!! Cat Stevens/ Yusuf Islam, in Dubai Hamza Yusuf, from his early days in my local masjid, to his "celeb status" here in Dubai.

Wow, I'm impressed and in awe girls but you won't be with mine!!!! :-( Steve Davis (snooker player) - bumped into him literally when I was 15 and was reading a teenage mag along the street and walked into his stomach. He wasn't impressed! Jimmy Greaves (Greavsie from Saint and Greavsie). Lovely lovely man. Geoff Boycott - awful obnoxious man. He walked into our office and demanded that he spoke with our boss and so I politely asked who he was despite him shouting out his name!

Once said "Hello Fred" to Fred Talbot because I thought that he was a friend of my dads for a moment. He looked at me like I was a weirdo. I realise that this will only mean anything to those from the NW of England who are familiar with Fred and his weather map so perhaps I am a weirdo. As you were BM, with your Sean Connery tale...... :D Yep, miserable sod in real life!
