I am about to leave Dubai and have been here for over 6 years. Whilst living here I have used Dr Tazyeen Faisal as my Gynaecologist. She has also delivered one of my babies here by planned c-section in 2011. I just wanted to recommend her to anyone that is looking for a good Gynaecologist. She works at Motor City (043746922) and also in Jumeriah at MedGate Centre.

My sister in law had an absolutely dreadful experience with Dr Tazyeen Faisal. I would not recommend.

I found dr. Tazyeen on an article that was saying this was one of the best doctors in dubai and thats why I went there: guess she stopped trying to be nice after the article. One of the biggest flags from the very beginning should have been that she told me not to read. (I only read things from trustworthy sources and my book from mayoclinic btw.) But seemed that she didn't want me to be informed and asks questions if I was concerned. A few days after I started with her, I had a pregnancy scare and I called her. She told me checking for my babies heartbeat is not an emergency and no doc will open up in the weekend for it. Lol I mean that's so ridiculous and scary that a doctor would say that, I have to laugh. I wasn't asking her to open up on weekend btw, just was calling her to see if I should run to the emergency department or something. Luckily I ended up being okay and didn't have to run to the emergency department after making a decision on my own. (She was no help.) I had coughing and she prescribed me a Medicine. When I read the leaflet that came with it, it said it was teratogenous and should not be taken by pregnant women. (Teratogenous means it is harmful for the baby.) Thank God I read it and didn't take it. When I mentioned it to her, she just sat there quietly. I'm going to assume like any doctor, she made a mistake but she didnt admit to it or apologize like she should have. One a side note, there are two receptionists there. One of them is extremely rude and does not know how to relay messages properly. Go to her if you want wrong info transferred. Their replies on whatsapp are also a hit or miss. They don't always reply back. Only when they feel like it it seems. The doctor Won't listen or remember properly. I will tell her about my constipation one visit and she'd act surprised when I tell her about it again the next visit. Like she's hearing that it was that bad for the first time. Were you not listening or not taking good notes?? Like why are you surprised by this now, when I'm mentioning it for the second or third time? Lol If she doesn't like you, she'll have passive aggressive moves like telling me to move to the other room, right as I'm about to sit down: I waited for a good 30 seconds after coming into the doctor's room, noticed she hasn't said anything or acknowledged me, so I proceed to go to a chair and right as I'm about to put my butt on the chair, she'll order me to go to the check up room next door. Like she clearly could have said that two seconds ago without being so petty. She can be extremely motherly and try to push you around like a true North Indian aunty. (She's pakistani btw.) Hm no I'm not looking for a mother, I'm paying good money for this service and I don't need you to boss me around. What truly ended things for me and why I'm no longer a patient there is because of this: When I called about the wrong info their office gave me regarding a test, the carefree receptionist conveyed something else to the doc and the doc called me. Dr. Tazyeen got mad at me, wouldn't let me finish a sentence and told me I'm being rude and hung up on me. They drove me around for weeks cuz of the wrong info they gave me btw, yet she had the audacity to yell at me. How professional. I would not recommend this doctor at all. The only nice thing i can say: their nurse Belle is super nice and she'll give you time and patience to be there with you. I think she was the reason I stayed a patient there for that long.

Wonderful person/doctor. After 5 years of struggle with various doctors and two miscarriages , finally found someone who knew what she was doing i.e. Dr Susan in Sharjah and then Dr Tazyeen. Both of them have excellent knowledge and more than 2 decades of experience. Dr Susan's clinic is quite economical but you have to be extremely patient with waiting times - sometimes it can take up to 2 hours before you can see the doctor. Dr Tazyeen's clinic is a bit pricey but waiting times is not as bad and she spends at least 15-20 minutes with each patient explaining everything related to the pregnancy plus additional tips on how to maintain your weight! Over the last 5 years I have seen at least 7 different doctors and besides these two, none of them had enough expertise to deal with complicated/high risk pregnancies. And it is not just the expertise, some are just extremely insensitive. I remember one of the toughest times was when I had my first miscarriage - the doctor just informed us so casually and gave that "move on - next customer please" look. Some were sincere and compassionate as well but just didn't have the expertise to deal with my case. It is only last year that my Vitamin D deficiency was diagnosed (after 4 years of TTC). Most of these clinics are just there to make money. If it is a straightforward pregnancy, it might be okay to go to these clinics but God forbid if you are like me and have had some problems TTC, then it would be worth going to Dr Susan or Dr Tazyeen. I am sure there might be other good doctors as well but out of the lot that I visited, these two were the only ones worth recommending. One doctor I would never recommend is Dr Farhana at Wilson hospital near Taawun Sharjah. Was extremely rude to me as well as my husband!

I have seen her for three of my pregnancies - the last was high risk. She delivered my perfect baby boy last week. She really got me through what was a very difficult pregnancy, I highly recommend her.

I second this. I have been going to Dr Tazyeen for almost 10 years now and she delivered both of my children. Her care and attention is second to none.
