Lemondrops - yes, thanks, this is the one. I'll take a look.
Rosse - I've only travelled on Emirates with it. When he was younger we used it in a regular seat on the plane to strap him in (we paid for the seat). Now we get it wrapped and check it in.
That may have been me posting that thread over a year ago. Based on the recommendations we bought a Kiddy Infinity Pro for travelling and are very happy with it. The only drawback is that the seat and the harness/support come in two separate parts so you need to wrap the two parts in cellophane at the airport, so you don't lose the smaller harness/support part. Not a problem as all airports I'd been to offer that service. I must admit that DD doesn't enjoy sitting in this car seat as much as she does in her regular car seat. But for a travel car seat it serves its purpose well - very light and so far durable.
I'm attaching the threads related to this for reference.

I remember someone recommending a light weight car seat on here a while back that they use specifically when they travel. We normally drag our Maxi Cosi Priori along but it's taken a real battering and I would love something a bit lighter (we'll still use the Maxi Cosi here). I've done a search but I can't find the recommendation or remember who posted it... anyone remember? TIA
ps - DS is two and a half
