ladies I don't want to run to the docs everytime i feel something BUT

was awoken at 4am this morning with a pain in my tummy and feel starving and my stomach looked like it had grown overnight !!! it feels really heavy today I know in my book it said the next few weeks i will see a growth spurt and start to get bigger?

anybody any words of wisdom?

Pregnancy is full of unknowns especially first time round, your body is changing very quickly the only time you should worry is if you have bad pain, then get it checked. But honestly your uterus is expanding very quickly at the mo and the fact your hungry means the baby is demanding nutrients from you, so eat well, I remember with my previous pregnancies ( and my current one ) having the heavy feeling ( Esp now at 36 wks!) it almost feels like you are holding your tummy out, relaxing is the best thing and swimming takes the feeling away if you are uncomfortable. Good luck and relax ,and trust me the aches pains and twinges will get worse its part of pregnancy but boy is it worth it !

Thanks Jwal we're booked in on saturday for a scan I dont have any pain at the moment will phone the hospital and see what they say as its not so easy to get seen if you dont have an appointment Good luck! Just rest up and have a cuppa!

If you are at all worried go to the docs, even just to put your mind at rest, it is normal to have pains due to stretching. I would go and get a scan, you will also be able to see the gender now!
