Parts of the country were treated to a temporary relief from the searing heat this week, as rain came to the eastern region of the UAE.
Rainfall hit parts of the country on Thursday, bringing with it lower temperatures and providing a welcomed respite from the high summer temperatures.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) shared on their Twitter account the update that rain was recorded over Al Ghail near Al Manama in Ajman, and Al Adhan welcomed light showers.
