It Rained in the UAE This Week

Parts of the country were treated to a temporary relief from the searing heat this week, as rain came to the eastern region of the UAE.

Rainfall hit parts of the country on Thursday, bringing with it lower temperatures and providing a welcomed respite from the high summer temperatures.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) shared on their Twitter account the update that rain was recorded over Al Ghail near Al Manama in Ajman, and Al Adhan welcomed light showers.

It was caused by the formation of clouds over the eastern part of the country, and these clouds are expected to continue over the weekend.

The rest of the country remained warn in general, and hazy at times however. Temperatures ranged between 35°C and 41°C in coastal areas of the UAE, like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Plus, increased humidity is expected to continue in both coastal and internal areas in the next few days.
