1. Dubai Water Canal
We kick off our list of Dubai's best roller skating spots with Dubai Water Canal. With lots of space and a smooth ground, this location makes for a great spot for leisurely roller skating/blading and skateboarding. On top of that, you get to skate with lovely views of Downtown Dubai and Business Bay.

2. Rolldxb
While Rolldxb is a love letter to retro roller skating rinks, they're not strict on the retro theme. This Dubai hotspot also hosts fun events such as costume parties, themed music nights, Ladies Nights, and more. You can either rent skates or bring your own.
Total newbie? Don't panic. They also offer safety gear for your peace of mind, and staff are available onsite to guide you through the first steps of roller skating or help pick you up if you fall.
For the seasoned skaters, Rolldxb has a few obstacles and steep slopes for those looking for an additional challenge.

Open 24 hours a day, this Dubai skatepark is located among lush greenery and the local Bay Avenue shopping area. It's a great spot for beginners as well as seasoned roller skaters and skateboarders.

4. Mushrif Park
For those who live closer to the Mirdiff area, Mushrif Park offers a great track for skaters and cyclists. It's important to note though that this zone has some steep slopes that are not recommended for beginner skaters.

5. Al Mamzar Beach Park
For more roller skating spots in Dubai, consider Al Mamzar Beach Park. The path is not as smooth, so safety gear is recommended.

6. The Block, Dubai Design District
Dubai Design District's (d3)'s skatepark is free and open to all everyday from 7am to 11pm. Located in The Block, this recreation area also has a volleyball and basketball court.
Train or test your skills at this spacious skatepark, recommended for both amateurs and experts.

7. XDubai Skatepark
Located on Kite Beach, the park features a range of ledges, rails, ramps, banks and blocks, as well as the XBowl, for skaters who want to practise tricks.
Perfect for all types of skaters, from novices to pros, XDubai is a favourite among skaters. Located along Kite Beach, this skatepark features a variety of obstacles including ramps, blocks, rails, and ledges.
Single day entry will cost AED 45 per person, AED 100 for one month, and AED 399 for three months of unlimited access.

8. Skateraati
Want to put yourself in the hands of a professional? Consider this roller skating and sports academy in Dubai. Skateraati offers both indoor and outdoor roller skating/blading classes for children and adults across a variety of locations in the emirate.

9. Downtown Dubai Boulevard
Head to the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai if you're looking to skate with a beautiful view of the Burj Khalifa. While there are a few tiles and construction sites to keep an eye out for, most of the ground is very smooth making it a great place for roller skaters.

10. Jumeirah Lakes Towers
The walk surrounding the manmade lake at Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a popular spot for joggers, dog walkers, cyclists, and skaters.
The surface is mostly even, but keep an eye out for the slopes and few breaks in the ground tiles. Skaters get a lovely backdrop of tower buildings, as well as a wide array of restaurants to choose from if you get peckish. There are several benches in JLT if you feel like taking a break.
