We announced back in October that the New Year’s Eve at the Burj Khalifa are BACK this year , and we’ve just received a cool snippet of what to expect.

Due to popular demand, the home of Burj Khalifa – Emaar has announced the revival of fireworks on the world’s tallest building for 2019.

Taking place this December 31st in Downtown Dubai, thousands of UAE residents, nationals and tourists are expected to watch the spectacular NYE fireworks together as the clock countdown to the New Year.

Here’s the exciting video:

(Spoiler alert – it looks INCREDIBLE)

Emaar has promised a bigger, better and brighter fireworks show at the Burj Khalifa this year that will light up the sky and leave everyone watching in amazement.

The firework show is free to the public in the UAE and is expected to attract thousands to the Downtown area on December 31st.

Previously, the tallest building in the world – the Burj Khalifa – used LED shows and laser displays to countdown the New Year in front of thousands of spectators in Dubai.

This was due to safety concerns of the building, spectators and the downtown area.

However, fireworks will be added to the celebratory effects this year and the event will be featured on television screens around the world and on screens in Downtown Dubai.

So you might actually get a chance to be on international TV – a moment of fame, anyone?

*Fast forward to December 31*

We can’t wait!
