The Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, and RTA bus timings will change as the UAE transitions to a new working week from Monday to Friday

RTA's 2022 schedule will be in line with the new work week.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed they will be making some timetable changes starting January 1, 2022.
Coming into effect next week alongside the UAE's new working week from Monday to Friday, the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, and public buses also change its service timings.
Dubai Metro
The Dubai Metro Red and Green lines will be operating from Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 1:15 AM the following day.
During the new weekend, Friday and Saturday, the metro will be available from 5 AM to 2:15 AM the following morning.
On Sundays, service will run from 8 AM to 1:15 AM the next day.
Dubai Trams
Dubai Tram will run from 6 AM until 1 AM on Mondays to Saturdays.
On Sunday, trams will be operational from 9 AM until 1 AM.
Public buses
RTA buses shall be operating from Monday to Thursday as well as on Friday-Sunday according to the applicable Bus Scheduling System, which shall be geared to the demand for service.

Starting next week, the UAE's public sector will shift into the new four-and-a-half-day work week. The change will apply for all government employees, as well as some private sector workers and students.
Private sector firms are not obliged to switch to the new work week model, but many will follow in making the transition.
