You Wont Believe This Hidden Treasure Exists In Palm Jumeirah

An exciting shopping and lifestyle experience has blossomed on the shores of Dubai - the Palm Jumeirah to be precise - and from what we can tell, it's packed with surprises!

The Golden Mile Galleria, a project by Nakheel Malls, is a large-scale venture that entails shopping, leisure and entertainment avenues for everyone. There's a host of activities to explore, from lifestyle stores, exciting food and beverage outlets, salons, nature park complete with a running track and even a children's gym!

Let's take a look at what the Golden Mile Galleria has in store for us...

Golden Mile Galleria

Lifestyle stores

Dubai's no stranger when it comes to shopping and bespoke services. And the Golden Mile Galleria is no different. Here you will find a store for your every need - be it clothes, tailoring, shoes or flowers!

Popular stores like Aldo, Athlete's Co., Bottega Verde and Early Learning Centre have set up shop at the GMG, giving visitors plenty to choose from. Grocery-lovers will be thrilled to know that there's a Spinneys AND an All-Day Fresh Mart within the premises - something that's a luxury for many! There's also a bunch of speciality stores like Ascots & Chapels, Beyond the Beach, 800Flower and My Pet Store to ensure everyone has something they can get at one location.

Beauty and fitness

Because no Dubai mall is complete without a salon at the least, Golden Mile Galleria takes it up a notch by providing not one but multiple beauty outlets such as Dial A Nail, BlowOut Bar, The Loft Fifth Avenue, Tips & Toes and a men's only Super Trim Salon.

GMG also houses it's very own Fitness First, for those who prefer to work out indoors. For outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, the project offers Al Ittihad Park, a 1.1 million sq.ft sustainable, green oasis containing more than 60 varieties of trees and plants indigenous to the UAE.

The park is flanked by a 3.2 km jogging track and has been designed as a unique, sustainable, eco-friendly focal point for inhabitants of Palm Jumeirah, as well as visitors and residents from across the UAE. Open 24 hours a day, with ample parking for visitors, Al Ittihad Park is a stunning natural tourist attraction for those wanting to learn about the country’s diverse plant life.

Children's activities

Dubai now has its very own children's only gym - Little Gladiators - located at the Golden Mile Galleria. Apart from this, it houses entertainment hubs for children such as Playdates and Party Zone. There is also a children's nursery called Babilou in the premises. For young music enthusiasts, Golden Mile Galleria brings to Dubai's residents two of the finest music schools, Melodica and Brooklyn Melodies, which will help hone the inner Beethoven or Bruno Mars in your little one. Check out Brooklyn Melodies' website here

There are also specialised kids fashion stores such as TucTuc, a brand synonymous with children's fashion and design. The Golden Mile Galleria outlet is the first flagship store in Dubai, with its international presence covering countries like Spain, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Azerbaijan and Lebanon. More information about it can be found here

Cafes and dining options

Keeping up with the Dubai spirit, the cafe and dining options at the Galleria are endless and diverse. Asian food enthusiasts can enjoy delectable Japanese cuisine at Kyo, Thai delicacies at Amy's Thai Bistro or flavourful Biryani from Biryani Street. Those looking for laid-back fare can kick back and relax with a hearty meal at Puff Baker Cafe - which even has a dedicated kids play area - or local favourite Zaroob. Ice cream lovers will come back for more at Rita's Italian Ice, a quintessential ice cream parlour located at the venue.
