Book Clubs in Dubai

Join one of the many book clubs across the Emirate to discuss those gripping stories with fellow expatriates.

Dubai Marina Invitational Book Group
Meet: Monthly in the Dubai Marina/JLT area
Members: The group is designed to be a small meet up of up to 12 people. The group currently has 16 members and new members must be approved prior to being invited to join.

Bibliophiles – Dubai Book Club
When: The meetups are at 7.00 pm every third Saturday (3 weeks between each session)
Where: BookMunch Cafe&Bookstore (next to Safa Park) or Café Nero DIFC - check the actual event to know where we are meeting this time. Both places have ample free parking, and great coffee and most importantly they are quiet on Saturday evenings.
Duration: the average session takes about 2 hours; it also depends on the number of people attending and how discussion inspiring the book is.

Meet: By Al Wasl square in Jumeirah once a month
Members: An all-women's book club meets once a month to discuss the voted upon book of the month.

When: From 1100, every 3rd Saturday of the month.

Kutub Bilarabi Book Club
Kutub Bilarabi is a literary circle that reads works by Arab authors that are mainly published in Arabic and for which an English translation is available. Arab authors that write in English may sometimes be considered.

The reading group was formed in 2012 to promote an understanding of the Arabic culture and initiate a dialogue between Arab and non-Arab residents of Dubai. Kutub Bilarabi aims to continue the works that Kutub at the Third Line started in 2007.
