In celebration of the United Arab Emirates' 48th National Day on December 2, the country will host a series of fireworks displays across many of the nation's most popular destinations to mark the occasion.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be marking the annual occasion with a series of events planned, and the icing on the cake is the stunning razzle-dazzle in the night sky.

Global Village

Come down to the seasonal shopping, leisure, and entertainment destination and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.

  • Date: Monday, December 2
  • Timing: 9 pm

Al Seef, Old Dubai

The sky over Al Seef at Dubai Creek will light up in celebration of the 48th UAE National Day, with not one but two fireworks shows.

  • Date: Sunday, December 1 and Monday, December 2
  • Timing: 8 PM (both dates)
  • Fee: AED 15 admission

The Beach, JBR

A stunning fireworks show is set to be held at The Beach in Dubai Marina following the weekend. This tourist destination might become crowded during the festivities, so it's recommended you secure your best viewing spot early on.

  • Date: Sunday, December 1 and Monday, December 2
  • Timing: 9 PM (both dates)

La Mer

The night sky will dazzle at La Mer's scenic waterfront for the UAE National Day celebrations. The ever-popular beachfront is lined with a wide selection of restaurants and cafes - if you'd like to treat yourself to a dinner and a show, it's best to arrive there early and enjoy a meal before the fireworks display.

The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah

You can't go more luxurious than this - UAE residents and tourists can enjoy a free firework spectacle at the tip of Palm Jumeirah. With the backdrop of the iconic Atlantis, The Palm, the fireworks show at The Pointe is sure to be a picture-perfect one.

These are the places you can watch this year's fireworks from Abu Dhabi.

Yas Island

Yas Island is expected to be a packed weekend at Yas Island Abu Dhabi for the UAE National Day celebrations. From 3 PM and onwards on December 2, Abu Dhabi residents can watch a car parade, live performances, ayalla dancers, tuck into delicious food stalls, and watch a huge fireworks display at 9 PM.

Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival

From December 1 to 3, residents and visitors can view the annual fireworks from Al Wathba at the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival by the Abu Dhabi Corniche. The show will take place at 9 PM.

Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium

For those who live closer to Al Ain, you can view the fireworks display at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium from at 8 PM between December 2 - 3.

Madinat Zayed Park

Watch the UAE National Day fireworks from Madinat Zayed Park and Delma Island & Al Sila’a from December 1 - 3 between 8 PM to 9 PM.
